Never Leave It Running Unattended

Fuel Handling on Site
Store spare propane tanks upright, away from direct heat sources, and away from the heater’s own exhaust path. Check that any tank connected to the heater has a working OPD valve, since older tanks without one cannot legally be refilled at most stations and may not seal properly with modern regulators.
Power and Ignition Safety
Corded heaters need a properly rated extension cord and a dry connection point. Job sites often have standing water, mud, or rain exposure that a home garage never sees.
